Oh godDAMMIT you people if you refuse to write fanfic for the obscure fandoms I'm into I guess I will just bloody well have to do it MYSELF.

It gets me every time. Why can't I like Naruto or fuushigi yuugi or Inu fucking Yasha??!!

No. I like movies and series that everyone knows about but nobody has the balls to write. It's so infuriating.

So, my latest insterest. I was into Meier/Charlotte when I first watched VHDB years ago, but then Ghostfire had to do an overview of her artwork over the years and I got to thinking about it by way of her fanart. Too bad I didn't know her back when she was into that pairing as well. Then I had to go watch the movie on Veoh for freeee. Ugh, so now my interest is piqued yet again. Unfortunately, there are, count them, ONLY TWO fanfics worth reading, with a few one shots by the same authors. It makes me want to take a baseball bat to a maternity ward.

This happened with CATCF (well, there is tons of fanfic for that, but....no offense, but I'm just not interested in adults sleeping with children) and Edward Scissorhands. Each time I was like, "this is bollocks, I hate this, screw them, I'll just write my own stuff." And then later I said the same thing, only "and I'll get a following of hysterical fans of my own as well." added on.

Meier and Charlotte have GOT to be more obscure than Edward S.. At least I wouldn't have to write an OC. Strangely enough, D himself doesn't do much for me. I love his artistic representation, but from what I've seen he's just so one dimensional. He's....very, very, very pretty, so pretty in fact, that when Tin~Lizzy cosplayed him I considered paying her good money to give me some kind of lapdance. But sometimes he's just a liiiiiitle TOO pretty. It's the body suit that gets me. The giant AREA between his legs makes me feel like Dr. Franknfurter, and I resent anyone who makes me feel like Dr. Franknfurter without my express written consent.

Oh well. If ever I feel like being a slutty alien transexxxual (who am I kidding, when do I NOT feel like....nevermind) I might dip my toes into the D fanfics, as there are some pretty good ones up on the VHD archive.

However, I think I'll lay off actually writing anything until I've read all the novels. I have the first one, and...uh, it was crap, as far as I read (which wasn't very far, admittedly). I don't know if Hideyuki is just a bad writer or if the translators were downing bottles of Jack Daniels before sitting down to the word processor, but I tried reading the first chapter and I remember bursting out laughing "Oh, oh no, no no no no no, this really is too much, I need to stop." Hmmm.

That won't stop me from drawing as much fanart as I please....

Anyways. Yes. I realize I haven't updated this journal in a year now, and I felt it was high time to get that entry off the page. By now most of you should have it burned into your heads my terms for comissions, so it doesn't really matter.
